Drain Cleaning

With sinks, tubs and toilets throughout your home, plenty of plumbing issues and emergencies can happen. At some point you will need to have bathroom plumbing repairs. Do you have a leaky faucet? Or is your toilet not running properly? Crossway Plumbing offers many plumbing services handling everything from bathroom faucet repairs to bathroom drain cleaning. Here we give you a few tips on how to handle some of these bathroom plumbing and repair issues:

Clogged tub drain

Tired of hair (and even pet fur) clogging your tub drain? Prevention is the best way to remove this type of drain block. Always use a tub strainer to keep hair and other items from stopping up your tub and shower. Make sure to clean the strainer often so the water can drain properly from your bathtub. If you do find yourself with a clogged tub, simply remove the strainer and try applying a flat plunger to the drain. If nothing happens in just a few pushes, you may need professional help. Call Crossway Plumbing and we'll quickly assess and fix the issue. We carry state-of-the-art tools and will get your bathtub working in no time.

Bathroom drain cleaning

The best way to clean your bathtub of soap scum and mildew? Use a brush and give the whole tub and surrounding walls a thorough scrubbing. Use a bathroom cleaner that is easy on grout so you don't end up destroying or damaging it. Pay close attention to the drain as well by cleaning out the strainer and wash the stopper. Check to be sure there isn't hair that got stuck in your pipes, as this is a common cause of clogging. Questions? Call Crossway Plumbing. We are happy to offer advice on ways to keep your bathroom clean and clog-free.
